Paying Safely

Is paying 100% safe?

Yes. All the required security techniques and more have been applied to our online payment system, which runs via the widely used European Multisafepay platform.

  • The 3D Secure technology was developed by Visa and is offered under the brand name Verified by Visa. MasterCard also offers this measure under the MasterCard SecureCode label.
  • With 3D Secure and SecureCode, an additional security check will be built into your Digipass when you place your order. This way you are protected against misuse of your credit card number because you confirm your identity before payment.
  • In addition, all communication  takes place by default through a secure https:// connection, identified by the green lock or bar in the address field of your browser.

Which payment methods do you accept?

On Firediscounter.be, you can currently pay in the following ways:

  • Bancontact
  • Bank transfer
  • Credit card (MasterCard, Visa)

There is no extra cost for bank cards and orders with bank cards are processed faster.

Can I first receive my order and pay afterwards?

No, in standard situations you can only pay in advance.

We do have exceptions for this:

  • public contracts
  • large orders (+ 2500 euro)
  • repeat orders
  • partner firms

If you are planning a large purchase and paying by invoice is your only option, please contact our customer service to review the payment options.

Will I receive an invoice? Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Yes, you will receive your invoice automatically by email as an attachment after receiving your payment.

  • Either immediately after ordering if you pay online
  • Or when we have received your bank transfer in case you pay by bank transfer

You can also find it in your account on our website.

Didn't register when ordering? If you register later with the email address you used for the original order, you will still have access to your previous orders and invoices.

Is it possible to pay for my order by bank transfer?


Please note that we will not ship your order until we have received the total amount of your order.

For payment, follow the instructions sent in the separate confirmation email. It will take about 2 workdays before your transfer can be processed.

Can my invoice be adjusted or changed?

Can my invoice be adjusted or changed? As long as your order has not been shipped yet, changes can be made to your order and invoice. Once your order has been shipped, we will not be able to change the information on your invoice.

Will I get my money back after cancelling or returning an order?

We will refund you as soon as we have received and processed your return. We will then send you a confirmation email within a maximum of ten workdays after your return. If you have already paid, we will refund you.

  • Maestro, Bancontact: within five workdays.
  • Bank transfer: within five workdays.
  • Credit card (Mastercard, Visa): within five workdays.

I paid too much! What now?

If you have transferred the wrong amount, please contact our customer service.

We are happy to refund any overpaid amount. Within two weeks the excess money will be refunded to your account.
